December 11 (Monday), 2017: Three day long ‘Techshohor Laptop Fair 2017’ will be held in Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) at the capital on 14 December (Thursday) with a slogan ‘Shok theke Sokti, Projuktite Mukti’. It is the country’s 19th laptop exhibition organized by Expo Maker. This year, a mega-pavilion, five sponsored pavilions, 14 mini pavilions and 27 stalls will exhibit and sell their latest technology products by leading top-notch technology manufacturers and marketing companies. The main sponsor of the fair, IT and Telecom specialized news portal TechShohor.com. Co-sponsors include Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo. Ticket Booth Sponsor is ROG. Eduemaker is sponsoring as Knowledge Partner. There will also be a media booth in the fair.
On Monday, a press conference was held at the Best Western La Vinchi Hotel at Karwan Bazar in the capital.
Channel Sales Consultant of Acer SM Shakib Hasan, Country Head of Asus Bangladesh Md. Al Fuad, Marketing Manager of DELL Protap Saha, Business development Manager of HP Salauddin Md. Addel, Sales Manager of Lenovo Rashed Kabir and Strategic Planner of Expo Maker Muhammad Khan spoke on the occasion.
Muhammad Khan said that, in the previous fairs, the students, including young people, were all more participants than expected. Hopefully this year’s record will break the previous records. Besides the laptops, the participants will be present with the latest technology and designed devices in the fair.
All types of products will be available with special discount and gifts. The fair will run every day from 10am to 8pm. Entry price for the fair is taka 30. However, the students with school uniform or displaying their identity cards can be entered with free of cost. Disabled people also get this opportunity to get free access. Money collected from the tickets will be given as assistance in the treatment of the journalists who are suffering from remote cancer.
